Page Twenny

technical drawing...oh joyYeah, drawing 7 pages of desert based action will be a doddle, right? An easy way to get close to completing 'Last of the Chickenheads', right?

Wrong. I forgot about the convoy of APCs, and the detail/ perspective that drawing this stuff entails. D'oh. :)

Still, I'm really enjoying the challenge, tbh. Plus I'm trying to cut back on the line feathering, just using minimal modelling and texturing where required. I went back over pages 1 - 11 yesterday and toned down the feathering. Bloody hard work retreading previous hard work, but worth it in the long run. I also put the 20 pages so far on to black backgrounds to offset the vivid flat colours further. It really brings my current style to life.

The next run of pages features a lot less of the anthropomorphic characters and more humans, so my life-class knowledge will be put to the test. I'll be taking extra care on the anatomy and especially human faces, as this is, admittedly, one of my weak points at the moment.
